Let B be a block (ideal) of some twisted group algebra \(F^{\alpha}G\) of the finite group G over a field F of prime characteristic. Suppose that \(G=DC_ G(D)\) with D a defect group of B and that the values of the 2- cocycle \(\alpha\) belong to a perfect subfield of F. Specializing a result by the reviewer [Arch. Math. 41, 117-120 (1983; Zbl 0506.20001)] the author proves that \(B\cong B/J(B)\otimes_ FFD\) where J(B) denotes the radical of B.
