[For part I see Autom. Remote Control 45, 1205-1212 (1984; Zbl 0558.90059)]. - The existence of a solution, the influence of perturbations of the initial data, the optimality conditions, and the convergence of a finite-difference approximation for the optimal development of a water-supply system formulated in the first part of this paper are investigated. A method of solving this problem is proposed.
