In the spirit of the theory of diagrams introduced by \textit{F. Buekenhout} [J. Comb. Theory, Ser. A 27, 121-151 (1979; Zbl 0419.51003)], geometries G with diagram \(\circ_x\diagrbar\circ_x\diagrBar\circ_x\) are considered. Using representation theory it is shown that if G is connected with a non-incident point-plane pair, then G is a building (in the sense of Tits).
