The authors consider the asymptotic behavior of solutions of gasdynamic equations which describe the distant regions of three-dimensional flows of inviscid and non-heat conductory gases freely expanding into vacuum. The same equations define the flows in the acceleration sections of nozzles. The principal term of coordinate expansion of solutions at large distance was obtained by \textit{M. D. Ladyzhenskij} in some earlier papers [e.g.: ibid. 26, 289-299 (1962; Zbl 0117.201)], especially when he calculated the flows in shock pipes and hypersonic nozzles.
