For each transitive permutation group G of degree 3 to 7, the authors compute an irreducible polynomial f(X) over \({\mathbb{Q}}\) with Galois group isomorphic to G. Some computational techniques to determine the Galois group of a polynomial over \({\mathbb{Q}}\) are described.
