Supergroups and superalgebras in physics (Q1066997)

This is a conference proceedings article with a summary of results on the representations of the supergroups SU(M/N) appearing in nuclear and quark physics. It has a welcome basis in the explicit harmonic oscillator representation and builds its irreducible tensor products through super Young tableaux. The article provides a rather readable synopsis on branching rules, characters, dimensions, Casimir eigenvalues and Dynkin- Kac diagrams for this family of supergroups.
