Relations between \(T_ 3\)-closed spaces, \(T_ 3\)-reduced extensions, \(T_ 3\)-closed extensions and systems of filters are investigated (also for non \(T_ 3\)-spaces). Convenient morphisms for \textit{D. Harris'} RC- proximities [Pac. J. Math. 34, 675-685 (1970; Zbl 0198.553)] are found such that the subcategory of absolutely closed RC-proximity spaces is epireflective.
