In a well known fashion [e.g.: \textit{J. L. Synge}, The relativistic gas (1957; Zbl 0077.417)] the authors construct the general relativistic Boltzmann equation. Modern differential geometry is used. They derive by a simple model the kinetic equation. The notion: ''by a collision a new particle is created or annihilated'', is introduced. Two important theorems in this connection are proved.
