We show that the integral on quantum probability spaces and on generalized measure spaces preserves the ordering of functions. This result answers the question posed by \textit{S. Gudder}, Found. Probab. Theor., stat. Inference, stat. Theor. Sci., Vol. III, Proc. int. Res. Colloq., London/Can. 1973, 121-141 (1976; Zbl 0329.60004).
