We establish the system of equations for the hygrothermomechanical behaviour of a composite material, using the homogenization method. The macroscopic coefficients are deduced and it is proved that the macroscopic system of equations is a coupled one, the temperature and moisture equations containing new terms. Finally the convergence theorem for the homogenization process is proved.
