The author gives some existence results for the periodic boundary value problem for first order differential equations. The results obtained are in terms of the nonlinear part at infinity by combining techniques of the theory of differential inequalities, namely the method of upper and lower solutions, and the alternative method for nonlinear problems at resonance.
