The paper contains considerations on the problem of the relations between the material symmetry of a crystalline body and a nonlocal elastic medium. Methods for construction of the nonlocal theory of elasticity and the elasticity tensor \(C_{ijkl}(x-x')\) are presented. The anisotropy properties of the nonlocal medium are discussed. The relation between the anisotropy of the medium and the body is noticed.
