A Picard category P is a Gr-category endowed with a commutativity constraint compatible with the associativity constraint. We call P restricted if its commutativity relation satisfies \(C_{X,X}=id\) for all X. The author shows that every restricted Picard category may be represented by a complex of abelian groups.
