Let G be a finite group and A a G-complex. This paper considers the problem of finding a G-complex X containing A as subcomplex such that: 1) all isotropy groups at points of \(X\setminus A\) have prime power order and 2) X has the homotopy type of a sphere. Further, the author wants to specify the equivariant homotopy type of X for each Sylow p-subgroup of G.
