A delay dependent queue with preemption (Q1072428)

This paper provides an expression for expected steady state waiting time for a delay dependent queue with preemptive resume priority. A unit's priority is decreased from zero linearly with time in proportion to a negative rate assigned to the unit's group through a set of negative variable parameters. Also the generalized expressions have been found by allowing the variable parameters to be positive or negative and the results have been discussed for the general queue GI/G/1.
