The author investigates two types of completions of concrete categories. He shows that there exists a strongly fibre-small concrete category without a smallest semi-initial completion [thus the result from the author's article, ibid. 22, 309-339 (1981; Zbl 0475.18001) is false]. On the other hand every strongly fibre-small concrete category has the smallest fibre-small semiregular completion.
