Stabilizability of steady motions of gyroscopically coupled systems (Q1073585)

The article considers the problem of stabilizability of steady motions of gyroscopically coupled systems by control forces that act only pseudo- cyclical coordinates and that depend only on positional coordinates and pseudo-cyclical velocities. Formulas are given for determining the coefficients of the control forces. The problem of stabilizing the rotation of a rotor that is eccentrically mounted on a flexible shaft is considered.
