Extension of fiberings (Q1074178)

The author proves the following theorem: Let G be a topological group and \({\mathcal P}^ a \)class of paracompact spaces such that, whenever \(X\in {\mathcal P}\), also any closed subspace of X belongs to \({\mathcal P}\). If \(G\in ANE({\mathcal P})\), then, for any Steenrod fibre bundle \(p: E\to B\) with structural group G and base space \(B\in {\mathcal P}\) and for any closed embedding \(B\subset X\in {\mathcal P}\), there exists an extension p': E'\(\to B'\) of p, where E'\(\supset E\) and B' is a neighbourhood of B in X.
