We describe the radicals of the class \(L_{\pi}(f)\), where \(\pi\) is a set of primes and f is Fitting functor [see \textit{J. C. Beidleman}, \textit{B. Brewster} and \textit{P. Hauck}, Math. Z. 182, 359-384 (1984; Zbl 0518.20014)]. This description unifies the known ones of the radicals of the classes \(K_{\pi}({\mathcal F})\), \(L_{\pi}({\mathcal F})\) and \(L'_{\pi}({\mathcal F})\), where \({\mathcal F}\) is a Fitting class, and it is applied to the study of p-normally embedded Fitting classes and functors.
