The author extends two criteria concerning the integral operators acting in the space \(L_ p(X,\mu)\) to the so-called ideal spaces: (1) a characterization of the integral operators obtained as compositions of two integral operators (due to O. D. Smirnova for \(L_ p(X,\mu))\) and (2) the characterization of the integral operator associated with a given measurable function (due to V. B. Korotkov and V. D. Stepanov for \(L_ p(X,\mu))\).
