In the present paper a simple criterion is presented for the effect of unsymmetrical lamination on the distribution of the instability regions drawn in the axes nondimensional excitation frequency-nondimensional amplitude of external pulsating load. In the case of large aspect ratio plates unsymmetrical lamination is shown to shift these regions to smaller excitation frequencies.
