On Artinian modules (Q1076084)

For an ideal I of a commutative Noetherian ring R and Artinian R-module A, the author defines the I-codepth of A to be the I-dimension of A, as defined by \textit{E. Matlis} [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 97, 495-508 (1961; Zbl 0094.252)]. The author shows that it can be characterized by vanishing of certain Ext-groups and obtains some basic inequalities for it. The module A is co-CM if codepth A\(=\dim A\); a few simple properties of such modules are given.
