One method of constructing cyclic PBIB-schemes (Q1076675)

The author gives a construction for resolvable cyclic partially balanced block designs with two association classes and parameters \(v=p^{mn}-1\), \(k=p^ m-1\), \(n_ 1=p^{mn}-p^ m-1\), \(n_ 2=p^ m-1\), \(\lambda_ 1=p^ m-2\), \(\lambda_ 2=p^ m-1\), where p is prime and m, and n are positive integers. The construction uses elementary properties of finite fields and is illustrated by a well chosen example.
