The author proposes a certain methodology for determining a fuzzy interval of ''possible'' expected values of a random variable V under the assumption that a fuzzy proposition in the form ''Prob(V is A) is Q'' is the only information about the variable. In the proposition, A is a fuzzy set in the domain of V (which is assumed to be a discrete, finite set) and Q is a fuzzy set (fuzzy probability) in the unit interval.
