Zeta-function of the mondromy for complete intersection singularities (Q1078622)

The author extends in this paper Varchenko's result [\textit{A. N. Varchenko}, Invent. Math. 31, 253-262 (1976; Zbl 0333.14007)] concerning the zeta-function of the monodromy operator of a singularity of a hypersurface to the case of a complete intersection singularity. The representation of the characteristic polynomial of the monodromy operator of an isolated singularity of a hypersurface in terms of the geometrical properties of its Newton diagram, given by Varchenko in the afore mentioned paper, is extended by the author to the case of a complete intersection singularity.
