The author is a good writer and an expert on solution of the time dependent neutron-photon transport equation. This article demonstrates the validity of moments construction algorithms away from wavefront flux discontinuity. He presents and verifies a new polynomial expansion of the solution of the time-dependent monoenergetic transport equation with anisotropic scattering in infinite slab, cylindrical, and spherical geometries. The solution is represented as a summation over moments expressed in closed form which allows accurate numerical evaluation. Accurate results are presented in graphical and tabular form.
