A triangular Bernstein-Bézier patch may be evaluated recursively by the de Casteljau algorithm. This way, a sequence of bivariate polynomials of decreasing degree is formed that all agree at one point. This family of polynomials is called ``adjoint patches''. The paper investigates convexity properties of this family of patches.
