The author develops some finite criteria for copositive, copositive-plus, and strictly copositive matrices. The basic mathematical tool is principal pivoting. These criteria are compared with the existing determinantal tests for copositive and strictly copositive matrices, and a determinantal test for copositive-plus matrices is proposed. Several additional results are collected together in the final section, among them a characterization of \(3\times 3\) copositive-plus matrices.
