The effect of a conformal transformation on the physical metric in Rosen's theory (in the case when the background metric is that of constant curvature) is found to be that the gravitational energy generation vector is conformally invariant. The effect on gravitational energy tensors is studied and it is found that in the special case when the physical metric is conformal to the background (i.e. conformally flat) there is no real gravitational energy.
