Perturbations in the three dimensional Kolmogorov model (Q1080389)

Investigated are the stability properties of simple equilibria of the perturbed Kolmogorov model: \[ dN_ i/dt=N_ iF_ i(N_ 1,N_ 2,N_ 3,\epsilon),\quad i=1,2,3,\quad \epsilon - \text{small parameter,} \] in comparison with the properties of the equilibria of the unperturbed system. The biological relevance of hyperbolic equilibria which preserve their nature under small perturbations is especially stressed.
