The paper provides a Fitting class construction based on certain groups of nilpotent length three, namely semi-direct products of \(C_{2^ i}\times C_{2^ i}\) by \(S_ 3\). The construction provides a different class for each group and shows that no two generate the same minimal Fitting class.
