Nonlinear couple stress theory of elastic dielectric is used to investigate the nonlinear oscillations of the surface of a spherical cavity inside an unbounded elastic dielectric in the presence of an electrostatic field. For a special type of dielectric material numerical solutions are obtained. It is observed that radial pressure increases while azimuthal stress decreases from their corresponding values in elastic-dielectric without taking couple stresses into account.
