An inequality strengthening the well-known Polya-Schiffer result is obtained for an arbitrary system of rigid bodies in translational motion through an infinite potential flow of a perfect incompressible fluid. Non-trivial examples of attaining equality in the estimate are given, establishing an analogy with the inverse problem of the theory of elasticity.
