In psychological and preference studies it is usually assumed that choice behavior can be modelled as a probabilistic phenomenon. We write the utility function as a linear combination of functions (aspects) of the attributes of the objects in the choice set, and study the two-aspect multiattribute case. The idea is that the decision maker concentrates on two aspects of the multiattribute alternatives. We establish some results concerning the choice probabilities generated by these models.
