An axiomatic introduction of the discrimination information function of Kullback and Leibler has been proposed by Hobson. In this paper, the authors weaken the system of axioms. They consider postulates involving degenerate probability distributions and they eliminate the symmetry condition and the monotony condition with regard to equiprobable events.
