We present two examples showing that the law of cancellation does not hold for the class \({\mathcal K}_ p(X)\) of bounded, closed, p-convex subsets of X nor for the class \({\mathcal K}^ q_ k(X)\) of bounded, closed, k-quasiconvex subsets of X.
