To solve incorrectly posed problems with additional information on the behavior of the exact solution, the author proposes to employ minimization of the discrepancy functional on the corresponding set. A numerical solution algorithm is proposed for the nonconvex minimization problem, based on the conjugate-gradient projection method. The effectiveness of the method is illustrated using an example.
