On stability of implicit schemes (Q1082782)

Implicit finite-difference schemes are considered which arise in the approximation of inhomogeneous nonlinear evolution equations having first order with respect to time. We also consider linear schemes having a direct relation to implicit nonlinear schemes, and we obtain a series of auxiliary results for them.
