We have obtained generalized expressions that make it easy to carry out mass convective heat flux and drag calculations for nonuniform wake-type flow. We have also studied the question of the occurrence of a reverse- circulation zone on the frontal surface of the body. A comparison of the results obtained with real far-wake parameters showed that the region of separationless flow past the body is fairly large. The effect of the nonuniformity on the local and integral heat transfer and friction drag coefficients was investigated.
