The article describes an investigation of a method of approximating boundary conditions of the first or third kind specified on circles of small radius (e.g., on the contour of a borehole). The scheme of the finite-element method is constructed on a regular net of identical but arbitrary triangles for the problem under consideration, and a complete theoretical analysis is provided.
