To overcome convergence problems in numerical simulations of plasmas with high exchange rates by the Medusa code [\textit{J. P. Christiansen}, \textit{D. E. T. F. Ashby} and \textit{K. V. Roberts}, Comput. Phys. Commun. 7, 271 ff. (1974)] (and probably by other similar codes), a new method, which is based on simultaneous solution of all temperatures is developed. This method, which is exact and very stable does not require extra space or time per iteration, thus allowing computing time-saving by the use of lager time steps.
