The author studied the effect of a small uniform rotation on the pulsation characteristics of low-mass partially degenerate rotating models. The rotation is confined to the radial and nonradial axisymmetric modes. The models have a central condensation comparable to white dwarfs of masses somewhat below the Chandrasehkar limit. It has been shown that as the central condensation increases, the destabilizing effect of rotation reduces. However, the models with a strong degenerate interior, become more unstable dynamically as a result of slow uniform rotation. Furthermore, the presence of rotation tends to increase the nonradial mode.
