Finite integral transform methods are used to obtain a formal solution of linear equations. In this paper, the authors introduce a special matrix operator which is used to define some initial boundary value problem. To bring the solution of the problem within the realm of integral transform theory, a new finite integral transform and the corresponding inversion formula are developed.
