A method is proposed for generating sequences of uniformly distributed random numbers with highly uniform n-dimensional distributions, which is recommended for use in mini- and microcomputers. We carry out a statistical study of the uniformity of an empirical distribution (frequency test) and of the randomness of the sequences generated using the up and down run method.
