\textit{R. Wille} [''Liniendiagrame hierarchischer Begriffssysteme'', Preprint No.812, TH Darmstadt (1984)] has proposed a set theoretical approach to concept analysis. In this article it is shown that his ideas can easily be formulated and generalized within the rough set theory. In particular the notion of a rough (vague) concept is defined and we focus attention on this notion.
