The approximate solution of the nonlinear boundary value problem for the two-dimensional isentropic subsonic flow of a compressible medium is examined by the finite-difference method. The applicability of the finite-difference method is validated with allowance for the singularity of the derivatives in the neighborhood of corner points of the domain. The rate of convergence is determined.
