A linear formulation is used to solve the problem of the diffraction of a single plane wave by a V-shaped wing moving at supersonic speed. The solution is based on the study of the eigenfunctions for a class of selfsimilar solutions of the three-dimensional wave equation. The boundary integral is constructed using a method discussed earlier.
