Necessary and sufficient conditions under which the boundary value problem \(u''=-(\gamma /t)u'+u-| u|^{\lambda}sign u,\) \(u'(0+)=0\), \(u(+\infty)=0\) with \(\gamma\in R\) and \(\lambda >0\) has nonzero solutions are established. Some properties, especially oscillatory, of solutions are also studied.
