The concepts of Q and \(Q^*\) applications are formulated. Using \textit{M. Lassonde}'s version of the KKM theorem [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 97, 151-201 (1983; Zbl 0527.47037)] some coincidence theorems are unified and an existence theorem for a class of inequalities has also been obtained.
