A certain class of Hamiltonian flows is investigated by means of evolution semigroups. To this end, the operator calculus introduced by \textit{P. J. Feinsilver} [Special functions, probability semigroups and Hamiltonian flows (1978; Zbl 0394.33002)] is generalized to Hamiltonians of the form \(H(x,p)=T(p)+a(x)\cdot p+V(x)\). This also allows the use of the theory of canonical transformations.
